Family Cruise...
Well, we made it home from our 5 day vacation all in one piece! We had a great vacation, a little stressful at times, but overall a good get-a-way with some quality family time. We flew out Wednesday night on a 6:00 plane headed for Houston. This was both the kids first plane ride and it really went surprisingly smooth. Nic kept talking about how his ears felt funny, and Ella was trying to climb the seats the whole time. We arrived in Houston at 7, and were picked up by Chris's parents for the remainder of the drive to Galveston. We loaded the ship Thursday afternoon and were entertained by tropical music, swimming pools, water park, casinos, and of course our cosy little suite! Nic really enjoyed speending time with his two cousins Zoe (on left side of Nic)and Jacy (on the right). They enjoyed swimming in the ocean at Cozumel, making a bear at build-a-bear, and enjoying their evenings at Camp Carnival. Ella also had a great time on the cruise. I think she was a little spoiled by the constant attention, and started manipulating us a little towards the end of the trip-man she is smart! She also enjoyed swimming the ocean and being strolled around in her stroller. She learned to say momma and used it all trip long when she wanted me- sweet, but a little wearing, because I could not turn her down! We got constant comments on how cute she was and even has two couples ask if they could take a picture of her- which I thought was a little sstrange. Long story short, we all got really close spending non-stop days together for 5 days in a row, and it's amazing how much you see them change. Oh, and she also cut another tooth- top front right! We made it home on our 6PM plane ride last night and the kids were so excited to be home! We had an amazing time.
Playing Catch Up
So I have been bad about blogging lately so here's my go at catching up. Over Spring Break my neighbor friends and I took the kids to the zoo. Nic enjoyed playing with his friends, and Ella absolutely loved the swing. She now has one in the back yard and laughs constantly while swinging. Here is another picture of Ella enjoying one of my toys when I was young. She loves playing house and also loves sticking the people in here mouth. It's really neat to see her play with some of the same things that I played with when I was her age.
Silly kids
So I haven't posted in awhile. It seems like this months has been super busy and I haven't made time to update. After recieving an email from my sister letting me know how upset she was that there hasn't been any new posts in awhile, I decided to post a couple silly pictures of Nic and Ella. Nic and Jacy really enjoyed their cupcakes at Hudson's second birthday-as you can see. These two are so funny together, a real hoot. Ella was also hamming it up with her daddy, who was also loving every second of his little girls smile.
